From Italy, this is a light weight shirred woven, just about opaque with some cottony body in the drape. The weave creates the distinctive dimpled texture, backed with an elastic grid that can expand by about 10%, with great springback. The bold and colorful "Bauhaus" design features printed stripes of varying widths running vertically, in shades of plum, lemon, navy, lime, kale and white (PANTONE 17-2227, 13-0859, 15-0545, 18-5616, etc.). The texture is similar to seersucker, though with deeper "dimples". It is perfect for a warm weather shirt, blouse, top or tunic, etc. Hand or machine wash and hang or lay flat to dry (please test first).
